The idea for the wetroom came from Scandinavia, where they had the ingenious idea of taking the swimming pool concept and placing a waterproof membrane beneath wall and floor tiles instead of having a shower tray and partitions. If you have space for one, wet rooms are much more free and open than the ubiquitous
