Beyond our solar system: Milky Way galaxy
For the existentialist in your life who has everything, how about the Milky Way galaxy suspended in a glass cube? Supposedly, there are 80,000 stars inside the cube, rendered using three-dimensional data from Japan's National Astronomical Observatory. In the exact center of the cube is our solar system - a tiny speck, a reminder of how invisible we are in the cosmic scheme of things. from Beyond our solar system: Milky Way galaxy

The Dog Bag by Meryl Smith
The Honey Space, a usually unattended "no-profit" gallery in a Chelsea warehouse, asked 5 curators to select artists to create works that meet the size and weight requirements of international carry-on luggage. Perhaps inspired by Vuitton’s nineteenth-century origins as a maker of upscale traveling cases, Meryl Smith combined leather, papier-mache, gold paint, and a (fake?) LV zipper to create Excessory Baggage. Yes, models and actresses are still accessorizing with little dogs, but why try to smuggle your barking purse pup through security when you could settle for convenient faux taxidermy instead? from The Dog Bag by Meryl Smith

Wacom Cintiq 12WX
A pen tablet with a 12.1″ LCD display that is targeted at not only the professionals who have been able to resist the Cintiq line thus far, but also amateur artists and photographers who are interested in keeping a natural feel in their digital workflow. Can a small screen with a big history provide the tools to bring the analog world even closer to the digital universe? We took a few weeks to take a closer look at this hybrid display, and now present our results. from Wacom Cintiq 12WX

Watershed Outdoor Furniture Set
While studying photos of furniture left in their "natural state," I noticed that the common act of tilting a chair against a table to protect it from the elements was actually quite charming and beautiful. These pieces highlight what happens when you blow out that last candle, gather up your things, and head in for the night. What happens at that moment and during the time you are away from your furniture?

Porcelain Sink Collection with ‘Magma’ effect from Mastertecno
Through its use of strong colors and smooth, sweeping shapes, the Mastertecno porcelain sink range shows how elements can be constantly re-experienced afresh. Plain colors show off the stunning forms of the bathroom furniture, plus the “Magma” decor is also available to add a extraordinary feature to sinks. The “Magma” process involves appliques on the ceramic surface, which results in a finish suggestive of an erupting volcano. from trendir
